Rea Vaya is holding a “design a mascot” competition with a laptop up for grabs.

DESIGN a mascot for Rea Vaya using its vibrant colours, and you might be in line to win a laptop.

Entry forms for the competition are available at all Rea Vaya stations, or by sending an email request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Only Rea Vaya commuters may enter – each entry form must have a Rea Vaya ticket attached to it.

Completed entries should be posted in the suggestion boxes at the stations. But designs drawn on larger paper must be addressed to Rea Vaya Marketing, Subject: Rea Vaya Mascot Design and delivered to the Johannesburg Roads Agency reception, number 66 at the intersection of Sauer and Jeppe streets, in the city centre.

Only one commuter will win the prize; the competition is a once-off event and the closing date is 3 June 2011.
