PEOPLE going to the Christ Embassy Church event at FNB Stadium on 11 March can rest easy, as their journey to the stadium is one thing they won't have to worry about.

Rea Vaya has organised an event service that will get people to the church on time. Buses will be running from two stations in the city centre and in Soweto.

The Johannesburg Art Gallery and Westgate stations in town, and the Thokoza Park and Orlando police stations in Soweto, began running the special service at 8.30am this morning to account for the high number of people needing to use it.

Buses will be running between these venues and the stadium at five minute intervals until 3.30pm; the event begins 6pm. It carries on until 6am on Saturday morning, and Rea Vaya will once again provide the transport. Buses will start ferrying attendees for the return journey from as early as 5am.
